Maydan · field-force app for retail

Every visit checked in by GPS and photo. Every stock-out known the same day.

Maydan is an Arabic-language, right-to-left app for running merchandisers and promoters in retail chains: GPS-and-photo check-in, shelf reports that work offline, and a live manager dashboard.

Arabic interface · Android, iPhone and desktop · No app-store download · Your name and logo

The operating problem

Your team is spread across branches and the picture you get is incomplete. A visit report on WhatsApp proves nothing about where it was written, empty shelves show up in a spreadsheet at the end of the week, and supervisors spend the day on the phone asking “where are you?”.

What it covers

Check-in by location and live photo

Accepted only within the branch area, with a photo taken on the spot. No all-day tracking: location is read at check-in, report and check-out only.

Visit report at the shelf

Stock count with the barcode reader, shelf price, display position, before-and-after photos and competitor activity. Works offline and sends itself when the network returns.

Promoter targets and shifts

A target in units per product for each shift, sales recorded during the shift, and the break and permissions timed.

Manager dashboard

Who is in the field and who has not checked in yet, open stock-outs by branch, and week-on-week trends — on the phone or the desktop.

Planning and schedules

Supervisors assign visits and shifts, set weekly patterns once, or upload the weekly schedule from Excel.

Daily reports and violations

Yesterday’s report every morning in the app as Arabic PDF and Excel; violations with fixed fines, one written objection, and a monthly total.

Built to be relied on

  • Each company gets its own server and database; data is never shared between customers.
  • Photos come from the camera only, never the gallery.
  • Daily encrypted backups, plus an hourly off-site copy once it is connected at setup.
  • Every administrative change is recorded; a deleted report needs a written reason and can be restored.
  • Installs from a link on Android and iPhone, under your company name and logo.
